Dianne’s Learning Path – 1000+ Hours of training
Like most people sports in my younger years involved team sports activities. Namely football, hockey, basketball and rugby. After my body did not recover quickly enough after one game to participate in the next one my interest switched to Body Building where I set goals for myself in weight lifting and achieved them. However my body’s range of motion due to weight lifting was limited and it was impossible for me to touch my toes.
Eventually a torn tricep muscle limited my weight lifting pastime. To repair the muscle and improve my golf game I started a Yoga and a Pilates program.
After my first Yoga class I was hooked. Not because I was good at it but because I felt such a connection to my body, mind and spirit.
My Yoga practice is now the dominate program in my life…. and my golf swing is more fluid as well.
