Together, we’ll explore the what, why, and how of this beloved practice and what makes it so uniquely grounding, healing and transformational
Why Yin Yoga – Stillness for Body and Mind
- The soft and long-held floor poses gently stress and strengthen the connective tissue, hydrate the joints, and improve mobility and flexibility
- Instead of pushing or striving, you relax into each shape, allowing gravity to do the work. This quiet approach calms the nervous system, and encourages emotional balance. It’s an invitation to slow down, listen inward, and restore harmony in body, mind, and energy
- Yin yoga nourishes the meridians of Chinese Medicine and the energy of the subtle body is harmonized
- In stillness, through inward drawn attention, we have the opportunity to develop self-compassion and understanding as we learn to fully inhabit ourselves with kindness
You’ll leave with a clear understanding of Yin Yoga’s foundations, plus simple tools to support a deeply nourishing home practice.
